Cold and lonely night. Am totally enjoying the serenity of such rare rare night. I love rainy and quiet nights.

Anyway, my day went fine, despite having to run errands in the rain, i had a great time slash lunch with favourite cousin at Fika's :) Followed by a sumptuous bbq baby stingray for dinner with Izza later, in the evening. YUMZ.

Now, let the pictures do the talking. Time to drool!

Had Fika's Swedish meatballs for lunch. Sauce was not too creamy, just how i had imagined it to be. Fika's meatball has got to be the real deal compared to ikea's. Opps. And the jam served for this dish was mind blowing man. Loved it! The greens were freshed and the potato with parsley sprinkles was really yummy! YOU SO GOTTA TRY IT.

And cousin had Aglio Oglio. A dish, suitable for those who intend to go vegetarian on that day. Anyway, my cousin does not fancy meat at all. Be it beef or Chix. So Aglio Oglio was puuuurfect for her. And you can request to add in extra ingredients too. Yup, will cost a tad more with add ons luhh, duh.

I headed for an event's briefing right after lunch. Or should i say...after my SUPER DUPER LATE BRUNCH.

After the briefing at UCC, i headed straight to simpang bedok to have a date with Izza. Sambal stingrays has always topped my list of dishes. And i must concur that Spize's BBQ sambal stingray was awsum pusom!!! Dinner was wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahlan Wa Sahlan Ya Ramadhan

To my friends who are not too familiar, Ramadhan is a noble month for the Muslims. It's a month full of tests!

We fast, not only for the battle of Tabuk, which means lack of food and water, but also a battle against negative thoughts. We learn how to control them during this glorious month and we will also take this opportunity to train our desire.

Another battle that each of us gotta go through is defintely the Battle of Dzatur Ruqa'. One of the many test that us muslims gotta endure throughout the whole month, battle of the hot weather. Battle or not, lets pray to the lord so that he can bestow upon us, strength that we need to go through Ramadhan as a good muslim. Insya'allah.

It is also legislated for all the Muslims to strive hard in the various types of worship during this noble month. They should strive to pray voluntary prayers and recite the Qur’an with reflection and thinking. They should increase the glorification of the lord (saying “SubhanAllaah”), declaring his right to be worshiped alone (saying “La illaaha il Allaah”), praising Him (saying “Al-Hamdulillaah”), declaring his greatness (saying “Allaahu Akbar”) and lastly, seeking His forgiveness.

We should also say legislated supplications, command the good, forbid the evil, invite to Allah, be generous to the poor and needy, strive to be kind to parents, keep good family ties, honor the neighbor, visit the sick, and other types of good deeds. Insya'allah.

Allah is the one who is asked to help us and the rest of the Muslims to do all that contains His Pleasure and to accept our fast and standing for night prayer. We ask Him to correct our situations and protect us all from the deviations of trials and temptations.

To be honest, i dont know about you, but, I feel Allah presence around me more during this month. This Ramadhan, there are added things that i gotta achieve on my goal list. Insya'allah, with allah's grace and guidance, i can do it.

Alhamdulillah, Ya Allah, for giving us the opportunity to go through this holy month again. And may you accept our prayers, supplications and plea.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and awesome Ramadhan. Hope it'll be the best Ramadhan for all of us! And I ask for forgiveness from everyone, if i’ve ever said, done or made anything that might have hurt you in any way.

May the saum that we all perform this year brings us syafa'a on the day of judgement. Insya'allah.

He is definitely not that one thing i'm sure of, but despite the countless times he broke my heart and mess all the broken pieces up, i am contented that he had the initiative to mend it and make things right between us all over again. And i dont know why, but i let him into my life, yes, again.

There are times that i thought that i should give love away, especially when things do not work out and seems really wrong in our relationship. But sometimes when one person is missing,
the whole world seems so......geeees...depopulated? Yeah, the world seems empty. My world seems empty. I miss him when i dont get to talk to him, i miss him when i told myself to not care about him, i miss him even more when i told him to stay away from me :(

Without him, i'm kinda incomplete you see.

Lately, I have been going through a complicated maze of thoughts. Being in a relationship is hard. I admit. It takes only one whole incident to bring the whole relationship down and it's hard to get it back running steadily on life's track again.

Ever since something happened between my lad and me, I would like to admit that my love wavered and up till now, i cannot find the affection that i used to have for him. It saddens me to actually admit that i cannot construct proper malay sentences. What am i to do? And hanging outs have been fun. Met a circle of fun people this week. Hopefully the week after too! And well, I'm currently 'working' for this company - ldr, in which i have to facilitate young students on a city trail! Sounds fun yeah? Well, i am only an attachee (as they call it) and as one, i was still under supervision of the senior facilitators and was trained on how to manage a group of rowdy and growing up kids. Am eagerly waiting for a day in which i can start facilitating a group..because only then..i am paid.

And there's a cricket under the family's refrigerator and it has been weeks! There's no visible signs to it though. And it's one smart cricket you see! Whenever one of us started to spray the insecticide, it shuts the hell up! HAHA! Though annoyed (sometimes), however, i would love to believe that it brings luck in this household :) A companion of perhaps..Pinocchio! Whom he decided to pay us a visit and eventually decided to stay? Told the others to just let the cricket be and we're kinda accustomed to the chirpings it makes every night already! I'll update more about it in time to come! LOL.

This is it i thought. The time finally came. A point of time in my life that life i finally get it…when, in the midst of all my fears and insanity, i stop dead in my tracks and somewhere the voice inside my head cries out…ENOUGH! Enough fighting and crying and blaming and struggling to hold on. Then, like a child hushing after a tantrum, i blink back every salty drops of my tears and begin to look at the world through new eyes.

I now realized. It's time i stop hoping wishing and holding on to thoughts that something or some miracle can happen. It's time i stop waiting for something to change. At this point, i'm tired...but i know and i realized that safety and security will not magically appear over the horizon.

I am in the real world and the word real guarantees it all. No one now can make me believe that there are fairy tale endings if i believe. Bull that's all it is. And to be able to live happily ever after? i know it must begin with me. I know i am not perfect neither am i born with good brains, heart and soul. I know i am not someone that everyone will always love.

But now i realized the importance of loving and appreciating myself. and I now, have learnt to stop blaming others for the things they do and didn't do to me. I now realized to rely on the unexpected.

I learned that people don’t always say what they mean or mean what they say and that not everyone will always be there for me and everything isn't always about me. I learned that nobody’s punishing me and everything isn’t always somebody’s fault. It’s just life happening.

It's simply just life happening.

I dont blame you if you dont understand me.

Used to hope and pray but now i've stop believing.

The weather's getting better! This is what i like about mid march. The weather :) And i heard it's autumn there in aussie yeah izza? Must be friggin cold. Gosh, really miss you. Do take care.

And just in case if you guys are wondering what i'm up to...well, i've been spending my time at home, kicking up storms in the kitchen and reading books of all shapes and sizes. I cant be bothered to get my self on this lappy. Had kinda enough, with the virtual world and stuffs. Wanna rest for now. BIT senior year was awesome! Keep rocking on BIT!

Besides that, have been searching for jobs..but luck's not on my side. Doing up my resume too. Hopefully, with this newly done resume, i can get the next job i applied for. Cross fingers! 1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep they always think about the girl they truly care about. (BUT WHY FLIRT SIA WHEN YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT ANOTHER GIRL! By flirting you wont help at all uh please. HAHA!)

2) Guys are more emotional then you think if they loved you at one point it takes them a lot longer then you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they arent with you. (LIKE FOR REAL?!!! HAHAHA! it kinda irritates me when angmouy bf wanna meet almost everyday. HAHA! SORRY BABE.)

Every single one has their own set of responsibilities. And responsibilities come along the way while you travel on the path of life. Shouldering it may be hard, it constraints your freedom, but whatever responisibility that befalls in our life, we must be able to commit to it. I believe being responsible makes you a better person. It makes the world a nicer place to live in. If the people in our society took responsibility for all actions, our nation as a whole would be better.

Responsible people look to the long-term goals, and not always what is easy and provides immediate satisfaction. They think of what comes after in the future. People are not born with a sense of responsibility. Negative attitudes are very common. But you can pick it up and lay it down. It may not be easy, life has never reckon that, but laying it down means you care. You care for the world, the people around you and yourself.

Now, i bear the responsibilities of a daughter, a sister, a student and a friend.

Well, 2009 was totally off the rocker!
So many things happened, so many things gained, lost loved ones, cried out loud, laughed out loud, fought, made up, forgave, forgot and got anchored into a game which i dont intend to quit at all.

I've learnt so many things, from mistakes made and by watching shows around me. I've grown up a bit more, as a person. I've cried my lungs out at a point of time where i felt horribly helpless. I've sung the happy notes in life and those were times i laughed my heart out, only to share the joy. I will always remember those laughter are to remind me of how wonderful life could be whenever i am down.

2009 was as sweet as sugar.
and i know 2010 will be better!

Ask me about my trip to malaysia and i'd be proud to tell you i managed to overcome not really a fear but the thought that plunging down a 5 storeys flat is crazy! And guess what? It isnt a bad idea after all! Very fun! And accomodation was darn good! Stayed in a huge villa with 3 other famillies <3333 Pictures wil be up pretty soon. Kinda caught up with projects right now, hence the short update.
